Who I Am

My name is Linda and I've been working in and managing office environments for thirty years.

While my formal education focused primarily on accounting and business—and I excel at the logical and mathematical aspects of that education and my job assignments—my greatest assets to a company involve my dedication to getting every job done completely and correctly, and my positive attitude and genuine desire to help customers and coworkers.

I understand and respect the confidentiality of financial matters and I take pride in my trustworthiness, productivity, and integrity in processing data and reporting it to management. I have been trained in traditional accounting methods and as a rule, I believe in and adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.

I take great pride in my work and I especially enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done. I also enjoy a good challenge, and thrive in an atmosphere that allows me to multitask and effectively prioritize my responsibilities. It is my intention to always meet or exceed expectations and thereby become a valuable asset to any company.

I have been in the Portland area the last 12 years working at 2 small businesses as the office manager. My responsibilities included all financial accounting functions as well as the customer service, inventory control, shipping, receiving and reception responsibilities.

Prior to that, I worked in a large corporation environment as a cost accountant for specific manufacturing concerns. This is when I developed a strong interest for the field of accounting. I was generating productions and usages for monthly industrial cost closings, analyzing cost sheets, variances and exceptions and booking research costs for interim manufacturing trials. I became the go-to person for special projects and performed internal audits quarterly.

I am a straightforward, dependable, and hardworking bookkeeper/accountant with extensive experience in office management and customer service. I can provide the economic information you need to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses and successes of your goals.
